Increase Organic Traffic
We’ve all been frustrated by sites that load slowly, or won’t load at all, on slower data connections. Sites that load quickly help build positive digital engagement with your business, and there’s some evidence to suggest that both load time and engagement with your content improve your rankings. As I mentioned, SEO is a long-term strategy. You won’t see results in the first week, and probably not even in the first month. Trustworthy sites tend to link to other trusted sites, while spammy sites receive very few links from trusted sources. Focus on building trust as opposed to trying to bend and break the rules. That way, you rise above Google's often-changing rules which are getting better and better at finding people who are looking for shortcuts.
Make a good use of your competitors’ keywords
To a search engine, relevance means more than finding a page with the right words. The link structure of the Web serves to bind together all of the pages that have been made public as a result of someone linking to them. Through links, search engines’ automated robots, called crawlers or spiders, can reach the many billions of interconnected documents. Does the website that is linking back to your website relate to your business? Make sure there is a strong relevance when acquiring backlinks. Getting your site to rank in Google can be a tough slog. It requires knowledge of current ranking factors, as well as the time and ability to optimize your content for those factors.
In the past, standard SEO advice was to get as many links as possible to your site, regardless of the source, and use the same anchor text each time. These days, doing that will get you knocked out of Google in no time. No doubt over recent months, you would have noticed in SERP's (search engine results pages) that many spammers have been exploiting this with 50+ character hyphenated domain names, followed by file paths a mile long. One thing you want to pay attention to is the speed of your future website. You can easily check that on websites like Google PageSpeed Insights, or Pingdom. Gaz Hall, a UK based SEO Specialist, commented: "Most people look at SEO the wrong way. They look at ways to do the least amount of work for the greatest initial return, when in fact, it's quite the opposite. "
Defining Your Site’s Audience
Keep an eye on organic search and watch out for drops in search performance, attribute those drops to specific actions, and develop a game plan for recovery and beyond. On average, the higher up page 1 the result is, the greater the number of linking domains that the webpage has. Information Architecture allows people and search engines to better understand the content structure on a site. As brands across industries continue to see the impact that organic search can have on their growth, search engine optimization has come from humble beginnings to become a recognized strategic field of marketing.
