Google’s emphasis on links is the most significant area of overlap between its organic and local ranking algorithms. Links from longer form, evergreen content (a 1,000+ word article that’s been popular for a long time) will be higher value than short, news-based posts. The visual structure of your website is, in most cases, presented by the menu of your website. Of course, breadcrumbs and permalinks help a lot here as well, but these are not the things an ordinary visitor will take into account. The menu is. When creating an asset, it’s important to understand which part of the user journey you’re trying to target. Are you trying to inform and drive familiarity of your business, drive a single purchase, build loyalty, or simply become part of the consideration set? What is duplicate content?

Try to ensure the key phrase is an exact match to what the searcher will type into a search engine.
